Well, I think we might be getting close to taking the old lead sled out of storage and putting that first make it look pretty shine on it…This is a critical first wash and sets the presedence to keep her looking good the rest of the cruisin season…Take your time and give it that full days worth and at the end of the day your going to say “WOW” she sure is pretty all shined up!!!
Start with a good hosing down and get as much dust off as you can, then fill a bucket with soap and water…After you wash your car thoroughly the first time here’s a secret that will make the next couple of steps much easier . A secret now so don’t tell anybody!! With soap and water go over your car with Shine Boys Finishing Clay, where you polish use the clay… This will take out all those contaminants I talked about…Dry thoroughly and your ready for the next step.. A good polish/cleaner/wax such as Shine Boys PCW will do the trick… What your going to notice right away is how easy it goes on and off because you cleaned it with the clay..After that some final finish glaze ” THE GLAZE THAT STARTED THE CRAZE” and your ready to put her on the pavement with a smile on your face and a tune cranken on the radio…I’m taken my 1950 Merc Lead Sled out of storage this weekend and giving her the “Do It Right-Make it SHINE BOYS Bright” treatment so I”m ready for the first cruise…
